The Earth is our Mother

Wayne and Zareen escaped quarantine in Salmon for the Fourth of July weekend and are camping in a secluded spot in the Lemhi Valley. Seemed like a perfect time to explore some of our songs for next Tuesday. 

Yep… Covid caught up with us. We are feeling pretty good and thankful that our immune systems were nicely prepped to fight this bug. 

A song honoring the Native American tradition.

The earth is our Mother, we must take care of her.

This sacred ground we walk upon, with every breath we take.

Something to discuss: how can this be singing about more than one thing? How can we turn it into a singularity? Think about the native relationship with the earth as one.
