Montana Family Camp

Location: Camp Mak-A-Dream, Gold Creek, MT (73mi.east of Missoula)

This is a camp totally worth attending: beautiful location, comfortable accommodations, affordable, relaxed and deep.

The camp is a bit of a drive in winter, but we can help organize ride sharing from our Idaho, Utah and Montana communities. We can also organize carpools from the Missoula airport over to camp.

Come solo, with friends or with your whole family!!

We dance, relax, play, and connect with our universal family, familiar or new, young or old. The Dancing is sweet, surrounded by incredible views and enclosed in warmth and smiles.

We welcome children and young adults to dance in our circle, but they are also free to gather and play in a separate, usually supervised, area. We dance together at three different times, plus have a zikr Saturday night.

Saturday afternoon is free for hiking, art, clothing exchange, discussion, or whatever individuals care to organize. After dancing many like to soak in the hot tub under the stars or snowflakes.

Food: The Camp Mak-A-Dream staff will prepare the meals for us and do the dishes.

Lodging is dormitory style in warm comfortable dormitories. Lodging space is a short walk from the dance hall. Comfortable in Montana snow! There are small kitchens available in a shared space. Bunkbeds and a few private rooms. Bring your own bedding.

Times: Arrive at 4:00 pm. Family camp begins with dinner Friday 6:00 p.m. and closes Sunday at 1:00 p.m.

Cost: Sliding scale $200 to $235. We are accepting half payments in December with your registration mailed to our registrar.
